A Life Built on Storytelling
Storytelling has shaped much of my life. After decades in advertising, with work that took me through Chicago, New York, and Annapolis, I found myself drawn more deeply into book writing, where I could explore ideas, history, emotion, and imagination with greater freedom. Over the years, I led creative teams, developed award-winning work, and built a career around the power of story. That same creative spirit continues to guide my writing today.
My Journey
My path as a writer grew naturally out of a lifetime in creative work. Advertising taught me how much a strong idea matters, how powerful emotion can be, and how a story, when told well, can stay with people. In many ways, writing books became a more personal continuation of that journey. It gave me the space to go deeper, ask larger questions, and create work that could unfold at its own pace.
Why I Write
My books move across different genres because I have never been interested in telling just one kind of story. I am drawn to history, science fiction, spirituality, nature, and the deeper questions of what it means to be human. Whether I am writing Upheaval, Civilization Starship, WilderSkies, or Be The Earth, I want each work to carry imagination, emotional truth, and a sense of discovery.
